BIO
What does it mean to be in the world, but not of the world? This is a phrase I think about daily that I've heard many times growing up in religious communities, and it continuously drives my art practice. To not be of the world suggests a level of transcendence that I explore visually through videos, motion graphics, collages, illustration, and writing. I am trained as an architect and I explore themes of world-building, community, religion and spirituality, and Afrofuturism. I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and I am currently based in Harlem.
